JANE.jpgWell, where to start?  There are so many aspects to the course that I found interesting, thought-provoking and inspiring that I am not sure which to share with you. 

If I am honest, looking back, probably the most influential were the modules on writing in plain, simple, fluent English and writing for your reader.
This was quite a revelation to me as it is not what I was expecting to say!

I did, in fact, go into the course thinking that the proofreading skill would be the most important and, whilst I may use that in future, in my everyday work I have taken much more from the course than I expected.

I read everything with a more open mind now and frequently ask 'What is the writer trying to say and do they achieve it?'

So, writing this paragraph has whetted my appetite for more and perhaps I will think, now, what I want to do next .
