Distance learning: it's focused around you

Distance learning courses used to be called ‘correspondence courses’, or 'home study courses'. Some people call them 'e-courses' or 'online courses'.

Whatever you call them, people find them very convenient and highly effective.

A study by the US Department of Education says: ‘Learning outcomes for students engaged in online learning exceeded those of students doing face-to-face instruction.’

Anyone can do our distance learning courses. You don’t need to be an IT wizard.

You just need a computer, an internet connection and word processing software like Word.

When you do a fully accredited home study course with us, you:

  • study anywhere, any time
  • do not waste time and money getting to classes
  • have quick access to a tutor
  • get marked work back quickly: usually within 24 hours
  • can keep your job. Many students are changing careers
  • save money: distance learning courses are usually cheapest

CTJT ex-student Nick Glaves says: ‘CTJT gave me the best education experience I've had, including university. I can safely say this course has changed my life.’

    What you get

  • Student reviews

    Student testimonials

The course went beyond my expectations as it covered many different types of copywriting and also included a bit about web writing and PR. Cleland Thom was the best tutor I’ve ever had through distance learning.

    Tiffany Shand: copywriting course

The course was excellent, and exceeded my expectations. I am now brimming with ideas for my blog. CTJT really do make you feel like you’re the only student they have. I enjoyed the course so much I’ve signed up for two more courses!

    Beverley Duddridge: fashion blogging course

Starting my own blog was a definite high moment in my career so far. It was selected by RCA to promote Beyoncé's new album! I exclusively released tracks and quotes from Beyoncé until her new album '4' was released.

    Natasha Ferguson: music blogging course

I really enjoyed the quick responses to the work that I sent in. I tried another distance learning course before this one, but being in South Korea meant it took a long time to send and receive work. I’m even thinking about taking another course!

Daniel Deacon: proofreading & editing course

I can only speak in the highest terms about CTJT. I now work in the Barclays Premier League for Sunderland AFC. The skills learned were crucial. The course is a fine addition to anyone's CV and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
